Michael Craig-Martin’s new exhibition Sculpture at Gagosian, Britannia Street, London, will be open after hours for Art Night 2019.

The evening will feature drinks from the King’s Cross brewery, Two Tribes, and music from Spiritland founder Paul Noble and DJ Justin Robertson, as well as composer and sound artist, Kirk Bailey, showcased by local charity Help Musicians.

The exhibition presents six new monumental works in a medium that Michael Craig-Martin has been exploring since 2011: powder-coated steel forms that describe everyday objects and appear like line drawings in the air. Standing between three and four meters high, the installation allows visitors to walk under and around the structures, which are discreetly sunk into the concrete floor of the gallery.
