I was, but just awake
I was, but just awake is the outcome of a two month-long collaboration coming to life as a performative event consisting of installations, performances and music. The evening fosters a multiplicity of viewpoints; pursuing a space of participation, developing community engagement, and contributing to the local creative and collective production.
With more than 10 practitioners, I was, but just awake explores the ways in which womxn collaboration can turn care and harmony into resistance, and how this has been interpreted by visual artists, writers, performers, musicians, designers and local community groups.
